We Can Not Give Up!
Life is hard, that is pure fact. Jesus never promised us that it would not be. We are going to have problems that we must deal with. People are not going to like us. They will do everything they can to manipulate you and use you, especially if you show bigheartedness. I liken it to the weakest cub in the pack. If you show weakness, you are inevitably going to become a victim. We can, however, be strong through Jesus Christ, who strengthens us! We do not have to be victims. We can live lives that are fulfilling. What is important is that we must never give up. We can never stop loving and trusting in Jesus. We can not stop believing in Him. We must never give up on reading God’s Word. We can never doubt that God is working in our favor! To give up is to admit defeat. Jesus never gave up! Giving up on Christ makes Satan the winner, but his destiny has already been chosen by God. His victory will be short-lived, but to the one who gives up and turns his or her back on Jesus, an eternity of Hell awaits.
God did not give us the precious gift of life and place us on earth to feel like a victims, like we are insignificant. He has a divine purpose for every one whom has placed their trust in His Son Jesus. Those whom have accepted Christ and have been filled with His Holy Spirit have power within them. They have power to overcome the devil and his adversaries. No weapon formed against us shall prosper! Jesus, in Matthew 10:32-38, talked of those who deny Him before men will be denied before the Father. Sometimes dissension occurs within the family. Even then, we must hold fast to our belief in Jesus Christ!
“32 Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him. 33 But whoever denies and disowns Me before men, I also will deny and disown him before My Father Who is in heaven. 34 Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to part asunder a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a newly married wife from her mother-in-law— 36 And a man’s foes will be they of his own household. 37 He who loves [and takes more pleasure in] father or mother more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves [and takes more pleasure in] son or daughter more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; 38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.”
Today, I seriously considered closing this blog, never to write another word. The Holy Spirit rose up in me and convicted me very quickly! To do so would have been admitting defeat and Satan would have won! I do not think so! Satan is the father of lies, and I refuse to bow down to his tactics! I will continue writing until I have nothing left to say. If I lose the use of my hands, I will dictate to someone. If I lose my voice, I will find another way to communicate. The Word of the Living God is too important, and for me not to do my part in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ while I am able would be inexcusable! I will never give up!

The Holy Spirit and I agree on this: don’t give up your blog! Your journey is too important not to share.
